How to register to vote in Mesa County CO

It’s our civic duty as Americans to be sure that we’re electing the brightest and hardest-working officials to come up with and enforce our laws, as well as promote an attitude of strength and prosperity for Coloradans. In 2018, John Hickenlooper’s eight-year term will come to an end, meaning that it’s on us to choose either Jared Polis or Walker Stapleton to take the office of Governor of Colorado. There are also many House seats up for the taking, so in preparation of heading to the polls on November 6, we’re hoping that you’re all ready to go. Steps needed for voter registration in Mesa County  

Luckily, it’s pretty easy to get registered to vote here in Colorado, as all you have to do is visit the official Mesa County website! There are two main ways to fill out your information and apply – one of them is with an online form, and the other is a printable form that you can then mail to your county clerk at your earliest convenience. All the following information will be required from you regardless of which option you take:  


  • Eligibility 
  • Name and Identification (Driver’s License or Social Security Number) 
  • Address of residence / Where to send your ballot 
  • Political Affiliation 
  • Whether or not you are updating a pre-existing record 
  • Confirmation that all information you provided is not falsified 

From the information that you give, you’ll be able to see your precinct number, polling location, and the election contests that you’ll be able to have a say in in your area.
