Pork and Hops Challenge (September 7-8)
The culture of the Western United States is brought together by two things – great live music and even better food. That’s what Las Colonias Park will be providing with their Pork and Hops Challenge, featuring amazing barbecue, awesome live acts and of course, plenty of drinks to wash it all down!
Mountain Winefest (September 13-16)
For the last 26 years, Colorado Winefest has been the largest celebration of its kind in the entire state, and year 27 promises to be no different. Taking place in Palisade, this festival will bring food and wine pairings, live music, grape stomping, seminars, and camaraderie with all others who attend!

Downtown Car Show (September 22)
This hit close to our hearts; on September 22, downtown Grand Junction will come alive with the sounds and sights of muscle cars, antiques, and motorcycles, all vying for the title of the best that the city has to offer. There are plenty of other awards up for grabs (including a new electric vehicle segment), so be sure to join in the fun!
Fruita Fall Festival (September 21-23)
Part music festival and part variety show, the Fruita Fall Festival has an unrivaled claim to the biggest yearly event on the Western Slope. There will be a parade, golf tournament, live entertainment, and even a carnival during the whole event. It’s certainly something you can’t afford to miss; everyone will be there!
