Carville’s Auto Mart and the Community Food Bank team up

Carville’s Auto Mart is teaming up with the Community Food Bank and Town Square Media this Holiday season to raise money and food to for the community.  The Community Food Bank is a  non-profit organization serving any Mesa County resident in need. Residents may utilize the Community Food Bank up to nine times each calendar year, receiving a three day emergency supply of food for each family member. The Food Bank is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, excluding holidays. There services are implemented by over 40 volunteers and overseen by a volunteer board of directors.  Your generous donations help to offset the cost of purchasing food from local grocery stores and the Western Slope Food Bank of the Rockies, both of whom are very generous in their support and commitment of the Community Food Bank. Monetary donations are also accepted and supplement grant revenue to fill in where food donations leave off. The Community Food Bank is able to distribute much more food per dollar than an individual. The cost to provide 3 meals for 3 days is as little as $3 per person. How can you help?  Stop by Carville’s Auto Mart location on Highway 6 and 50 and drop off any canned food supplies or your loose change and Carville’s Auto Mart will match what is raised for this great cause up to $1000.

Thank you from all of us at Carville’s Auto Mart,
