Now that we’re dead center in the heat of the summer, it’s not uncommon to look for places in our area that offer great opportunities to cool down and have some fun along the way. That’s why so many locals choose to hit up the water with their friends and family, and there are plenty of locations to do so right here in our town. If you’re looking to swim some laps or soak up some rays, come join us this summer at some of the best public pools and waterparks in Grand Junction CO!  


Lincoln Park – Moyer Pool 

There’s plenty of great times to be had at Moyer Pool, a 50-meter tank which offers a water slide, diving boards, concession stands, shade areas and the Splash Pad water playground for the kids! There’s also a shallow area for kids just learning to swim, making it an awesome experience for all who come by!  

Orchard Mesa Community Center Pool 

Located just off the banks of the Colorado River, Orchard Mesa Community Center is home to a pool for casual swimmers and fitness enthusiasts alike. There are times for both public swims and lap swims, meaning that there’s always a great opportunity to get out and enjoy the refreshing vibes of a day by the water!




Bananas Fun Park  

Bananas Fun Park is more than just a waterpark, it’s also home to laser tag, go-karts, and mini-golf, making for a great time for both kids and adults. Also, be sure to hit up Coconut Cove, a 10,000-gallon waterpark with water guns, slides, splash pads and more.
