Spirit of Christmas Celebration 

Downtown Grand Junction will be lit up on Friday, December 7 with the sights and sounds of its annual Spirit of Christmas festival, featuring open shops to get that last-minute gift shopping in, live entertainment, and plenty of lighted trees. All in all, it promises to be a breathtaking and beautiful experience like none other.  

Community Christmas Concert 

On Sunday, December 9, the Grand Junction Centennial Band will be returning to the Historic Avalon Theatre for its annual Christmas Concert, complete with classic holiday favorites and a Champion of the Arts award ceremony from the Grand Junction Commission on Arts and Culture. Best of all, this concert is totally free for anyone who attends!


The Nutcracker 

If you asked us to power rank all the Christmas plays and productions that have been created, The Nutcracker would inevitably find its way to the top of the list. It comes to Moss Performing Arts Center from December 21-23, with 75 local performers, stellar choreography, and an enchanting story all in one. 29th Annual Christmas Train Show 

From December 8th to the 30th, Cross Orchards Historic Site will be host to its 29th Annual Christmas Train Show – you and your family will get to see some of the coolest trains on display all decorated for the holiday season. It’s certainly a great way to see how past and present can still give off the same vibes of goodwill and fun during Christmas festivities.
