Grand Lake Trail

When the first snow falls, Rocky Mountain National Park near Grand Lake turns into a winter paradise, as you’ll find plenty of fellow snowmobilers heading down this winding path. If you’re a novice at the art, be sure to check out Whiskey Park for a quick tutorial on handling your machine, and head by Lake Grandby and Shadow Mountain Lake on your way to the fun!

Grand Mesa Trail

Located right outside of Grand Junction, Grand Mesa (the largest flat-top mountain) is home to a 9,000-foot high trail that offers over 800 square miles of land to conquer. Be sure, however, to share the trail, as many of them are multi-use. Otherwise, definitely enjoy the view!

Sunlight Mountain to Powderhorn

Sunlight to Powderhorn is an iconic spot for many riders of all ages and skill levels. This over 120-mile long path heads from Glenwood Springs to right here in Grand Junction, and with plenty of lodges (including Grand Mesa) along the way, there’s always time for rest and fun. And, if you need some extra adrenaline, feel free to let loose on the open meadows!
