Not only is it a time for remembrance of all those who have given so much for our great country, it\u2019s also a time to celebrate the freedoms that we\u2019re granted on a daily basis because of our brave servicemen and women. Free Admission at Colorado National Monument<\/a><\/h3>\n

There\u2019s no shortage of awe and beauty here in western Colorado, and all Americans will get an extra treat over the weekend. The Altius String Quartet<\/a><\/h3>\n

If you\u2019re looking for a little bit of culture and class over the weekend, The Altius string quartet will be performing at Colorado Mesa University on Saturday, November 11th at 3 pm, as part of the Western Slope Concert Series. It truly promises to be a great afternoon filled with incredible music, and better yet, tickets are only $9!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Veteran\u2019s Day Parade<\/a><\/h3>\n

The hallmark of many a Veteran\u2019s Day weekend has been the parade that kicks off the festivities. This time around, you\u2019re invited to downtown Grand Junction at 2 pm, when the parade will kick off on Main Street. It\u2019s always fun to see the cool floats and all the community members get together, and we can\u2019t wait to partake!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
