Cloth stains can be annoying, but luckily they’re pretty easy to get out of your used car’s seats. Today we’ll show you how!
What you’ll need to clean cloth car seats
Depending on the severity of the stain, you can probably get away with using common items like all-purpose cleaner and a paper towel to remove it from your seats. However, some stains like coffee, grease and others can get embedded in your seats, which isn’t ideal for anyone. To combat this, here’s what you’ll need:
- Baking soda
- Mixing bowl
- Hot/Boiling Water
- Microfiber rag
This way, you’ll be able to apply some deep cleaning treatment to your vehicle, leaving its seats nice and clean!
Steps to clean cloth seating
As we’ve mentioned, cleaning any cloth stain in your vehicle is a pretty simple process. Here’s how to get it done:
- Mix one cup of baking soda with two cups of hot water in your bowl. Stir until both materials are mixed well.
- Place your microfiber rag in the new liquid and remove once it’s dampened to your liking.
- Apply the rag in circular motions on top of your stain, making sure to apply extra pressure where your cloth is stained deepest.
- Wait around five minutes for your mixture to soak up the stain. Then, take a paper towel and wipe it away.
This should be enough to get any stain out of your seats; however, if it’s still there, keep repeating the process until your seats are clean!
