Some drivers are concerned about their environmental impact. People try to be conscious of their habits to try to lessen that impact as much as possible. Beyond buying more efficient cars, what can we really do to help things?

Driving less and being more mindful of our driving habits is obviously the first good step we can take. If you can chain trips together, then that will also help as opposed to making different, smaller trips. What can the people who have to drive often do? Some jobs and situations make it impossible to avoid driving, but we have some tips for them as well.

Truck drivers can be some of the pickiest drivers out there. They need very specific things from their trucks, and they aren’t willing to settle for less. Debates have raged on for decades about what truck brand is the strongest, or which type of engine is the best.

North Avenue Complete Streets Project Ribbon Cutting and Celebration

Come join us for the Celebration of the completion of Phase 1 of the North Avenue Complete the Streets Renovation Project.  There will be Food, prizes, variety of mascots and the Carville’s Auto Mart 9/11 Tribute to America Truck  http://www.carvillesautomart.com/9-11-tribute-to-america-truck. There will also be a Free Drawing for 2 Redline BMX Bikes and 2 Free Ski Tune Ups from The Board and Buckle.

The festivities will be held Thursday, October 27 from 5 to 6pm on the Northeast corner of 15th Street and North Avenue.  You can park just North of the Celebration in the former Far East Building.

The event will showcase the improvements that our partners of the City of Grand Junction have done to improve North Avenue.
