2018 Arbor Day Celebrations in Grand Junction CO

Though it’s not as big an American holiday as some of the major players such as Christmas, Easter and Independence Day, Arbor Day is still a celebration that garners a ton of importance in the public eye. As a countrywide celebration of our planet, Arbor Day serves as a constant reminder for us to marvel at (and protect) the beauty that surrounds us, especially with the natural wonder we have around us on the Western Slope of Colorado. Southwest Arbor Fest Events 

You’re all invited to join our Carville’s Auto Mart team on April 21 right here in Grand Junction, at Lincoln Park for the annual Southwest Arbor Fest put on by the community. This event will feature plenty of awesome happenings, including craft brew tastings and a mac and cheese competition. 


In addition, there will be plenty of arts & crafts to make, a tree giveaway, tree climbing, and plenty of stuff to keep the kids occupied. Plus, there will be many food vendors around the park, making it easier to fill up while you’re having fun!  

Southwest Arbor Fest Live Music Acts 

Southwest Arbor Fest is famous for hosting some of the best music acts in the Western Colorado area, and this year promises to be no different. Awesome artists like Five 14, Mount Orchid, Suckafish and Union of None will all be performing, giving you plenty of opportunities to rock out with your friends and family!

Cost to Attend Southwest Arbor Fest 

Perhaps the best part of Grand Junction’s Southwest Arbor Fest is that it’s a cheap way to have a great time. In fact, festival area admission is free! Do be advised, however, that tickets for the craft beer tasting will be $25 at the gate, as well as $5 for the Mac n’ Cheese Cookoff. It’s all worth it, however, to spend your Saturday making some great new memories!
